Cookie Exchange

Mark you calendars for this Tuesday, December 14th at 9:00 am. We'll be having our annual MOPS Cookie Exchange and the last meeting of 2010 (can you believe it!?). If you want to participate in the cookie exchange, please bring 3 dozen cookies (can be all the same or different types). If you're too busy or tired to bake cookies (of course, we understand!) come anyway for breakfast, visiting and a christmas craft.

ALSO - THERE ARE SOME BIG CHANGES THAT WILL BE AFFECTING THE FUTURE OF OUR MOPS CHAPTER SO PLEASE COME TO HELP BRAINSTORM AND SHARE YOUR IDEAS.

We were happy to be invited to the 2nd Annual Fountain Hills Volunteer Expo last week. Always excited to get the word out about MOPS.

6:30 at Fountinis. See you ALL there in your party pants, your dancing shoes and your double fists (jk). Leave the diaper bags at home ladies...it's gonna be fun.

our first meeting

thanks to MOPS steering committee for a wonderful welcome back! the MOPS video clips were enlightening, breakfast delicious and spotlights a lot of fun. thanks to everyone for sharing their funny motherhood stories - especially rikki! we're looking forward to a great year with all of our MOPS sisters. From strengthening our relationships with one another, to strengthening our faith and love of the Savior...here's to a fantastic year.

...another year! the return of fh mops kicks off tuesday, september 14 from 9am-11:15am. an amazing morning is in store, so come join us - and bring a friend! we'll see you at first baptist church, where free breakfast and babysitting awaits.

birth of a blog

fountain hills is a diamond in the ruff. a cozy, quaint oasis in the desert!  famously home to the seasonal senior citizen folk, fountain hills is also recognized as a place where thousands of young families are raising their children. as mothers of preschoolers, we are blessed to have found a community of support within this beautiful community in which we live. we come from all sorts of backgrounds, but have found commonality in our faith in God and desire to connect with women who are, just like us, in the throes of this magical season of motherhood. with the birth of this simple blog we are looking forward to staying connected with one another on a regular basis. as an fh mops member, please feel free to contribute photos, helpful links, past and future events, advice, stories, sweet thoughts or anything else that might benefit us and our community. and for those visiting, welcome! and let us know you're here! check out our contact info on the sidebar.
